Island Place truly exceeded my expectations! the location was absolutely perfect, just a short walk from downtown Bar Harbor. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great suggestions for things to do in the area. the room was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities I needed, including a comfortable seating area and a flat-screen TV for some evening entertainment. One of the highlights of my stay was the free access to the Island Explorer Shuttle, which made exploring Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park a breeze. the option to book exciting excursions like kayaking and whale watching right from the hotel was a fantastic convenience. The property also features a business center, perfect for guests who need to catch up on work during their stay. the complimentary parking was a huge bonus, as parking in the area can be a challenge. Overall, Island Place provided a seamless and delightful experience, making it the perfect choice for travelers looking for a comfortable and tech-savvy stay in Bar Harbor.
